One of the worst restaurant I have ever been to.Staff is nice but that’s all.When you come in the smell is very bad. Restrooms are very dirty. Then comes the food : untasty, obviously made from frozen products. Disgusting, non appetizing food. We couldn’t finish our plates. Never go there!!

My wife ate here when she was a child, service and food was first rate. My wife slo said the magic is still there. Delicious!!!!

The food here is amazing and the employees are so friendly! I haven't lived in Homestead for about four years now, but every time I go down south to visit friends and family I always make sure to stop by and get a bite to eat. Highly recommend.

I will miss this place very much, it was an great restaurant and had many memories here with family and friends. I had gone here since I was a little boy and wanted this to become the same for my son. Thank you el Toro for great times and memories.

Just to come back to my Hometown of course you Have to go to El Toro Resturant Incentive today bc we got to chat with Adam and all the great memories from the time his mom bought the place with him and his brother. Took my Mom and they sat us in the back as a request bc of her dementia. Funny bc my dad John Santee and his friend Butch did all the electrically work before they opened back in the 80's.I loved being able to get real Street tacos, fresh chips and Salsa.Our waitress was spot on Or no whom has served here over 15 years. The Resurant was neat and Clean especially for being so busy at lunch time.10 Stars Adam. Loved the Food, Atmophere and Chatting.Kimberly Mygrant

Absolutely fantastic food, great atmosphere and great customer service.Our server was super attentive without being obtrusive and the owner also came to visit to check that everything was to our satisfaction - it was!! Definitely one to put on your 'Must Do' list when in the area.

Sometimes it can be a hit or miss but for the most part one of my favorites. I went to another local area and they changed their menu. Including drowning their burritos in American cheddar cheese. Not what I was expecting. However, this place is still the same from decades ago. The best!

It's pretty sad when you have a craving for Mexican food, have countless places to choose from and end up literally returning the food you chose. The menu on Google is apparently inaccurate so what was described was not what was received. I ordered to go and upon returning to my car decided to double check the order. What a disappointment... I went back into the restaurant for a refund with no issues but there was also no effort to satisfy my business. I walked across the street for to give another place a try. Sad. Not even sure how the food was, didn't bother trying with the whole experience.

So sad such a popular place in Homestead food didn't taste that bad but it needed love and more attention. It was way way over priced. Looking not to spend so much money don't go make sure you go to another one in the area I'm sure your pocket will Thank you.

My family and I have been coming here for nearly 30 years. This place has the best Mexican food in the south Florida area, hands down. It is not to be missed, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I had stopped coming to this restaurant because of the horrible service, however; we decided to give it a second chance. We are so glad we did. The food was great and the service was amazing. We were greeted upon our arrival and we did not have to wait 15 to 25 minutes before someone even noticed us st a table. We ordered our food within minutes and it was brought to us at a very reasonable time. Where before we sometimes waited 35 to 40 minutes for the food. I had two chicken tacos and one ground beef. The chicken tacos were amazing, but, I did not like the taste of the ground beef. My husband ordered two chicken enchiladas and one cheese. He said they were great. Overall, their customer service was excellent and the food was even better. If you are in the área and want simple and very reasonably priced Mexican food visit El Toro Taco.

First time to experience Mexican food and it was spectacular especially their service. Would recommend then for an authentic Mexican experience.

We ordered flautas and the chicken looks like came from the can un tasteful the rice nasty overall we didn’t like it at all not a lot of flavor very dissatisfied staff in the other hand was nice and attentive but i can say the same regarding the food

Excellent food and service. The staff is friendly. The parking is kind of inconvenient. Street parking or around the back. The green sauce is on the spicy side but great. Definitely a place I will come back to.

When you step into the restaurant, you may not believe how good it is, because the place look really traditional. But the food is really, really, really amazing! One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been. The guacamole is killer kind!!! The service is also really good, really fast. And the price is really fair, cheap if you compare with the quality of the food. I really recommend.

Great food but pricey

The most authentic Mexican I ever had. Everything is fresh and amazing. When avocado are in season the guacamole salad is a must have.

I’ve come here many many times but today Andrea was our server (10/25/18) 8:12PM and she’s by far the best server I’ve had. Super sweet, attentive and kind. I ordered the burrito and she assured me it didn’t have cilantro lol. Nonetheless, great service, amazing food and good price. I definitely recommend coming with the family or friends it’s a nice atmosphere like a home.

Stopped in after driving to keys. Food is great and fairly cheap. Beef burrito is amazing. Other types were too. So much meat on all of the meals and good flavor. Great place overall.
